6 When the woman saw that the fruit of the tree was good for food and pleasing to the eye, and also desirable for gaining wisdom, she took some and ate it. She also gave some to her husband, who was with her, and he ate it. 7 Then the eyes of both of them were opened, and they realized they were naked; so they sewed fig leaves together and made coverings for themselves. Genesis 3: 1-7

Before Adam and Eve sinned they were in perfect obedience and communion with God. It was after their disobedience to God that they became aware of their sins or imperfections and began to cover themselves and hide. Too many in the world today are openly disobedient to God’s will and purpose for their lives. To compensate for this sin and inadequacy, individuals hide behind money, greed, power, fake public personas, drugs, alcohol, and sex, to name a few. There is no peace outside of God’s will and purpose.

21 The Lord God made garments of skin for Adam and his wife and clothed them. Genesis 3: 21

To reconnect to God’s intended purpose for our lives, we must submit to His will. When we submit to God’s will, we will begin to reestablish our identity, position, and purpose in His Kingdom. Only God can clothe us in our right minds and forgive our sins. Kingdom Clothing was established to be that symbolic point of contact between God and His people.
